At Equal World Coffee it is our mission to provide the best coffee in the world to our Customers so that together, through an innovative approach to fundraising we will work to eliminate poverty one cup at a time.

Our mandate is to fulfill the Proverb that commands, ”Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.  Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.” 

After years of humanitarian travel in the developing world and seeing the plight of the hard working poor, Equal World Coffee was founded.  We are committed to seeing higher profitability for coffee farmers in Africa who up until now have survived on less than $1.00 per day.  Equal World Coffee has developed an unprecedented “win-win” fund raising model that has high impact on the farmer, the fund raising organization and the consumer.

For the farmer

It is our belief that the only way to sustain continued improvement on the lives of impoverished coffee farmers in Africa is to “buy high” (above “fair trade” prices).  Then, by working closely with an exceptional roaster, Equal World Coffee is contributing to the education, training, equipping, promotion and empowerment of the coffee cooperatives we purchase from.

For the Fund Raiser

Time is money.  Most organizations would agree that both time and money are in short supply – yet both are needed to meet their fund raising commitments.  Therefore, Equal World Coffee “sells low.”  We provide unparalleled profit margins to the fundraiser to maximize profit and minimize the time required to reach your goal.

For the Consumer

The consumer will experience some of the best specialty coffee in the world.  It is fresh roasted per order to ensure maximum quality and freshness.

Our specialty coffees come from regions in Africa that have unrivaled growing conditions for climate, soil and elevation.  The coffee cherries are lovingly tended and then hand picked with care.  Because of the care our coffee farmers provide, Equal World Coffee will delight your senses with rich aroma and flavor.
